Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN specializing in Cardiovascular/Cardiac Surgery for a 13-week contract requiring at least 1 year of CVOR/Open Heart experience and an active Oregon RN license.

Details

• Cardiovascular Operating Room setting within a hospital environment serving cardiac surgical and procedural sedation patients
• Patient population includes pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and elderly patients
• Works alongside a variety of provider specialties for both outpatient and inpatient surgical cases
• Day shift with varied scheduling and rotating weekends

Requirements

• Active, unencumbered Oregon RN license currently in hand
• OR RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS (Healthcare Provider level) and ACLS (AHA)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Circulating Nurse in the OR, or completion of an approved didactic pre-operative nursing class
• Minimum 2 years of experience in ICU/PCU and/or medical-surgical acute care
• Minimum 1 year of CVOR/Open Heart experience required
• ICU experience preferred
• Scrubbing experience preferred
