American Traveler is hiring an LPN with long-term care experience for a 7-week evening shift contract at a long-term care facility in Malone, New York.

Details

• Long-term care facility setting in Malone, New York
• 8-hour evening shifts, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Monday through Sunday
• 40 hours per week
• Minimum of every other weekend required, with schedule adjusted to meet unit and patient care needs
• No block schedules permitted
• No on-call requirements
• Floating not required

Requirements

• Current LPN license required; NY license accepted with proof of pending licensure included at time of consideration (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 1 year of LPN experience
• Long-term care (LTC) experience required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• At least two professional references from a Nurse Manager and/or Supervisor — one within the past 6 months and one within the past year
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• 7-year background check, FACIS Level 3, and NY State check required
• Reliable personal transportation required — public transportation is not accessible in this area
• All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
• Complete work history including bed count, EMR, and facility type required

Additional Information

• LPN may be required to cover CNA duties as needed
• Interview to Offer (IVS) process — no formal interview required
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Local candidates are accepted
• Pay rates are tiered based on distance from the facility: Travel (101+ miles), Radius (51–100 miles), and Local (50 miles or less)
• Religious or medical exemption documentation for vaccination requirements must be submitted if applicable
