American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Outpatient Clinic role at a Bone Marrow Collection Program within an oncology cancer center, requiring IV skills and at least one prior travel assignment.

• Outpatient clinic setting within a cancer center's Blood and Bone Marrow Collection Program
• Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• 30-week contract covering a maternity leave of absence
• IV insertion skills are required for this role

Requirements

• Active DC RN license required; must be in hand prior to starting
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience within the last 7 years
• At least 1 prior completed travel assignment required for consideration
• Proficient IV insertion skills required
• Two supervisory references required, including one from the most recent assignment, supporting at least 2 years of experience in the previous 3 years

Additional Information

• Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are considered local; local candidates are accepted but at a different rate
• Driver's license must match the candidate's address on file when determining local status
• Nurses with previous employment at this health system must have been separated for a minimum of one year before returning as a traveler
• No RTO is permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment; RTO must be submitted upfront and cannot exceed 7 days per 13-week contract period
• Manager interviews are not guaranteed; candidates should be comfortable proceeding without one
• Facility-specific compliance modules must be completed within one week of contract signing
• Labs and any required pre-start appointments must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
