Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy position requiring a minimum of 2 years of endoscopy experience, prior travel experience, and Epic EMR proficiency.

Details

• Hospital-based Endoscopy unit
• 4x10-hour day shifts per week, Monday through Friday with a floating day off
• On-call required, including weekends; candidate must be within 30 minutes of the facility when on call
• Floating is required; travelers are given priority to float, including to sister campuses located within 15-20 minutes of each other
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Active FL or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 2 years of endoscopy experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Accredited nursing degree verification required for consideration
• Driver's license address must match the address on file with the Board of Nursing

Additional Information

• Travelers are welcomed into the unit and are expected to function as core staff
• Orientation begins on a Friday; nurses must be present at the facility in person for badge/ID issuance
• Block scheduling requests are not accepted
• All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application and will not be approved after offer
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility's permanent address; this rule is strictly enforced
• No first-time travelers; prior travel experience is required for this position
