Description

American Traveler is seeking experienced RNs for Radiation Oncology (Rad Onc) travel positions at a prestigious academic medical system in Massachusetts, with procedural and/or Rad Onc experience required.

Details

• Radiation Oncology (Rad Onc) unit within a large academic health system in Boston, MA
• Two separate openings available: one requiring procedural experience (with Brachytherapy and Rad Onc experience preferred), and one requiring Rad Onc experience
• Day shift with staggered start times within the department
• 40 hours per week, rotating shift schedule
• Uses Epic for charting
• Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• BLS certification required — must be AHA only
• Procedural experience required for one of the openings (e.g., OR, cath lab, endoscopy, dermatology surgery, plastic surgery, IR)
• Rad Onc experience required for the second opening; Brachytherapy experience preferred for the first
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted
• Active MA RN license must be in hand at the time of consideration — no pending licenses accepted

• Candidates whose permanent residence is within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are considered local and are eligible to apply
• No validated parking available at Boston locations; public parking costs approximately $17–$22 per day; public transportation is available
• 13-week contract
