American Traveler is hiring an LPN/LVN for a long-term care nursing home in the Rochester, NY area, requiring an active NY LPN license, Epic experience, and a minimum of 1 year of experience including previous charge experience.

Details

• Long-term care nursing home/skilled nursing facility setting
• 1:10 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (0700–1500)
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday coverage required, if needed
• Epic EMR experience required
• Floating within skillset required
• Navy blue and white scrubs required (any combination)

Requirements

• Active New York single-state LPN license required (NY is not a Compact state); license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of LPN/LVN experience required
• Previous charge nurse experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• BLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience is a hard requirement
• Skilled nursing facility or nursing home experience required
• RTO requests of no more than 10 days; all time-off requests must be submitted at time of consideration
• Skills in wound care, respiratory management, IV therapy, phlebotomy, foley catheter insertion, feeding tube care, ostomy care, blood glucose monitoring, and EKG/ECG

• Former staff members must have a minimum 1-year gap before returning
• Pre-start modules are required and vary by specialty; total module time may reach up to 10 hours
