American Traveler is hiring an experienced Oncology Infusion RN for a day shift position requiring at least one year of oncology experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Oncology infusion setting providing IV chemotherapy and related infusion services
• Administers chemotherapy and IV fluids via peripherally inserted central catheters (PICCs)
• Day shift schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• OCN certification must be obtained within one year of hire
• Minimum of 1 year of oncology nursing experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor's Degree (BSN) preferred

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient assessment, developing individualized care plans, and revising plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Provides patient and family education on post-discharge and post-chemotherapy follow-up care
• Directs and delegates care to other team members while maintaining a safe therapeutic environment
• Documents patient care in the health record in accordance with established standards
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
