Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cardiac/Telemetry Step-Down position in New Jersey, requiring at least 1 year of step-down experience and an active NJ RN license.

Details

• Cardiac/Telemetry Step-Down unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts (7p–7a), 3 days per week, 36 hours per week
• Floating to a sister hospital nearby may be required on an as-needed basis
• No on-call responsibilities
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Active NJ RN license (or compact license with NJ privileges) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an Intermediate Care or Step-Down unit as an RN
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Strong communication and computer skills required
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary health care team through a Shared Governance model, with a focus on evidence-based practice

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible for this position
• Epic charting experience is relevant to this role
