American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a House Supervisor position requiring at least 2 years of experience, with overnight shifts and the ability to float between two campuses.

Details

• Night shift position, 7p–7:30a
• Floats between 2 hospital campuses and their respective units
• Role is housed within the Nursing Administration department
• Involves oversight of hospital-wide operations during off-hours, including capacity management and patient throughput
• Staffing levels are monitored and coordinated every four hours

Requirements

• Active RN license in Kansas (KS) or a compact state currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Must possess a valid U.S. Social Security Number and provide a U.S. home address
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Skills checklist required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responds to all rapid responses, code blue events, and other emergency situations throughout the facility
• Addresses and resolves patient and family concerns, escalating issues as appropriate to the Nurse Leader On-Call (NOC) and Administrative On-Call (AOC)
• Conducts routine leadership rounds on all units to provide support, identify concerns, and promote quality care
• Serves as a clinical and operational resource for staff, providing guidance and decision support during off-hours
