American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuro Med/Surg position at a prestigious academic medical center, requiring a minimum of 2 years of neuro med/surg experience and an active MD or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a Neuroscience and Epilepsy Monitoring Unit focused on the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of intractable seizure disorders
• Neurology and neurosurgery patient population, including complex cases involving innovative therapies and technologies for nervous system diseases
• Med/Surg Telemetry unit setting within a large academic hospital environment
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Epic EMR (preferred, not required)
• Orientation sessions held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month

Requirements

• Active MD or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of neuro med/surg experience required
• Experience at a comparable large facility (500+ bed count) required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
