American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Telemetry position at a heart-focused hospital unit in Tampa, FL, with weekend requirements and experience caring for cardiac and complex medical patients.

Details

• 13-week travel contract with 12-hour shifts (0645–1915)
• 36 hours per week
• Telemetry unit within a cardiac-focused hospital setting
• Patient population includes heart failure, arrhythmias, chest pain, COPD exacerbation, GI bleed/abdominal pain, syncope, altered mental status, UTI, shortness of breath, and ESRD/dialysis patients
• Weekends required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating to other med/surg areas is possible

Requirements

• Active FL RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Telemetry nursing experience required
• COVID-19 vaccination (two doses) or an approved declination required

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers — no radius rule applies
• Former permanent employees must have been separated for at least 90 days before returning as a travel nurse
• COVID-19 booster is not currently required, but proof of two primary vaccine doses or an approved declination is necessary
