Description

American Traveler is hiring a LPN/LVN for a 13-week travel assignment in a long-term care/skilled nursing facility, with evening and night shifts and a minimum of 2 years of experience required.

Details

• Long-term care and skilled nursing facility (LTC/SNF) setting with 42 beds
• Patient population includes long-term care residents with a mix of memory care, dementia, and orthopedic diagnoses; no current behavioral risks
• Nurse-to-patient ratio is 2 nurses during days/evenings and 1 nurse during nights
• Charting via Point Click Care (PCC)
• Evening and night shifts available in 8-hour or 12-hour increments, primarily 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Every other holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Active LPN/LVN license required if applicable; must not be pending at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of LPN/LVN experience required; no exceptions
• Current BLS certification required; copies of active certifications required (pending certifications not accepted)
• LTC/SNF experience strongly applicable given patient population
• Point Click Care (PCC) experience preferred
• 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
• Valid driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Brief facility orientation covering building layout and lifts, approximately 2–4 hours
• Candidates residing within 80 miles of the facility are considered local and are accepted at a different pay rate
• No on-call or call-back shifts available
