American Traveler is hiring an LPN/LVN for a travel contract in an outpatient cardiology clinic setting, requiring a minimum of 1 year of experience and current BLS certification.

Details

• Outpatient cardiology clinic setting
• Functions as a core member of the interdisciplinary care team, serving in rooming nurse, resource nurse, and clinical support nurse roles
• Patient ratio of 1:5 during day shift
• Scheduled for 5x8-hour day shifts, 8:00–16:30
• Floating within the health system is required
• Epic EMR experience is preferred but not required
• Block scheduling

Requirements

• Current Washington State LPN/LVN license required; license application with proof of submission is accepted at time of consideration
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of LPN/LVN experience required
• Cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills required
• Experience with cardiac arrest/CPR protocols required
• Ability to obtain 12-lead EKG/ECG required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Two professional references from the past 2 years required, with at least one from a supervisor (Charge Nurse accepted)
• Candidates must be willing to float within the health system as needed
• Candidates with more than one DUI are not eligible for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessing and implementing patient care under provider supervision, preparing patients for examination, providing direct patient care, and assisting providers with examinations and treatments
• May be responsible for telephone triage using age-specific triage protocols and computerized resources under provider oversight
• First-time travelers are eligible for this position
• Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility
• Previous PeaceHealth employees (travel or permanent) must have been separated from the health system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• If a Washington State license is not yet in hand, candidates should anticipate a potential start date delay of up to 8 weeks while licensure is processed
• All requested time off must be disclosed prior to contract signing; no additional RTO will be approved after signing
• No facility-specific modules are required
