American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a fast-paced Cardiac Intervention/Telemetry Unit position requiring ACLS certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience, with every other weekend availability.

Details

• Fast-paced, high-acuity 30-bed telemetry unit specializing in cardiac intervention care
• Patient population includes pre- and post-cardiac procedure patients, with a focus on post heart cath, sheath management, electrophysiology interventions, post pacemaker/ICD implants, post cardiac ablations, and new dysrhythmia/heart block onset
• Cardiac drip titration is a routine part of patient care on this unit
• Night shift position: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• 36–48 hour contracts per week
• Every other weekend required
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active FL or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association only) required
• ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Strong critical thinking, precise clinical skills, and telemetry/cardiac experience required
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address
• Documents required for consideration: full SSN, full DOB, skills checklist, 2 professional references (submitted separately), copies of certifications, license verification/Nursys, and a copy of Driver's License

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to pre- and post-cardiac procedure patients including sheath management, drip titrations, and monitoring for dysrhythmias
