American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Urology Ambulatory Practice position requiring Epic EMR experience and a minimum of 2 years of acute care experience.

Details

• Ambulatory urology practice setting (outpatient/office environment)
• Day shift schedule, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week
• No weekends, evenings, nights, or holidays
• No on-call responsibilities
• Epic EMR required

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required (temp license accepted); must remain current through the duration of the assignment
• Minimum Associate's degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with catheters and drains preferred
• Urology or chemotherapy/oncology experience preferred
• Ambulatory, ED, or procedural experience preferred
• Phone triage or walk-in triage experience is a plus
• DOB and full Social Security number required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include administering medications and treatments, telephone communication with patients, performing instillations, and educating patients before and after urology procedures
• Former permanent staff of this facility are not eligible to return as travelers, regardless of time elapsed since departure
• RTO is limited to 7 days for the duration of the assignment
• Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible to apply at a reduced rate
• No specific scrub color requirement; blue is recommended
• COVID vaccine medical and religious exemptions are accepted but must be on file
