American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Wound Care Center position offering a Monday-Friday day shift schedule with no experience required.

Details

• Work in a dedicated Wound Care Center specializing in acute and chronic wound treatment and prevention
• Utilizes advanced techniques including bioengineered skin substitutes, wound vacuum systems, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT)
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• First shift, 8-hour days, 40 hours per week

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license (KY or compact)
• Current BLS certification
• ADN or ASN required, BSN preferred
• No prior experience required
• Proficiency in medication administration, wound care, IV therapy, and use of medical equipment
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment

Additional Information

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings per scope of practice and hospital policy
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in coordination with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team
• Educate patients and families on procedures, treatments, and discharge planning
• Coordinate with Case Management for timely and effective discharge processes
• Delegate and oversee patient care tasks performed by other team members
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities and core measures such as patient satisfaction, falls, pressure ulcers, and CAUTIs
