Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Case Manager for a hospital-based Care Management position requiring a FL or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of case management experience.

Details

• Hospital-based Care Management unit
• 8-hour day shifts, 5 days per week
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating is required; travelers are first to float and may be assigned to sister campuses within 15–20 minutes of the primary facility
• Block scheduling requests are not accepted

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required; DL address must match the address on file with the Board of Nursing
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of case management experience required
• Accredited nursing degree or 5 years of experience required (accreditation verification from ACEN, CNEA, CCNE, or FL Dept. of Health list required)
• Full demographic information required for consideration: full name, address, email, full DOB, full SSN, and RN license number
• Driver's license required

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; this rule is strictly enforced and applies to property ownership or co-signing as well
• Orientation begins on a Friday with remote orientation followed by an in-person badge/ID appointment at the facility; candidates must be available and in the area on that Friday
• All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application and will not be approved after offer
• Travelers are expected to integrate into the unit and function as core staff
