American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a CVOR/Operating Room position requiring at least 1 year of experience and open heart surgical case experience, with a call requirement of 10–12 days per month.

Details

• Work setting is a hospital Operating Room with a focus on Cardiovascular OR (CVOR)
• Primary case type is open heart surgery, with flexibility to cover other OR cases when open heart cases are not scheduled
• Day shift schedule, primarily 0630–1500, with hours subject to change based on department needs
• Call requirement of 10–12 days per month
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active IA RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
• Current ACLS certification required (American Heart Association)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• CVOR or cardiovascular OR experience required, including open heart surgical cases
• COVID vaccination card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Scrub into open heart cases as the primary responsibility, with cross-coverage to other OR case types as needed
