Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a General Psych/Dual Diagnosis position requiring an active OH or compact RN license and at least 1 year of behavioral health experience, with float responsibilities within the medical center.

Details

• Inpatient Behavioral Health (General Psych/Dual Diagnosis) unit within a medical center
• Serves both adolescent and adult psychiatric patient populations, including dual diagnosis cases
• Float within the medical center is required
• Night shift schedule: three 12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Minimum 1 year of behavioral health nursing experience preferred

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include clinical care of inpatient behavioral health patients
• De-escalation training (Welle or CPI) is preferred but not required
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this position
