American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Advanced Care unit requiring Epic EMR experience, Level 1 Trauma background, and an IL RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg Advanced Care unit in a hospital setting
• Works with hospitalists for Advanced Care patients and collaborates with the critical care team for ICU-lite patients
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Working 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period
• Holiday coverage on a rotation basis
• May float to like units

Requirements

• Active IL RN license in good standing (temp license accepted)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
• Minimum 1 year of relevant RN experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• Level 1 Trauma experience required
• Minimum ASN required; BSN preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Conducts initial patient assessments, develops and implements individualized care plans, and adjusts plans based on ongoing evaluation
• Maintains accurate documentation and integrates information for use by the healthcare team
• Supports patient and family communication through hourly rounding, bedside shift report, and whiteboards
• RTO is not to exceed 7 total days for the duration of the 13-week contract
• Contingent workers may not remain on continuous assignment at this health system for more than 1 year; a 6-month break in service is required before returning to any location within this health system
