American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring at least 1 year of OR experience with strong ortho, ENT, and general surgery circulating skills.

Details

• Hospital-based OR setting with 58 licensed beds and 3 OR rooms
• Patient types include bariatric, ENT, fractures, general, GYN, ortho, pediatric (ENT), podiatry, robotics, sports medicine, total hips, and urology — no neuro or cardiac cases
• Average caseload of 5–10 cases per day
• Charting and equipment includes Epic, Alaris, and Pyxis
• 10-hour day shifts with start times ranging from 0630–1100 depending on daily need
• 40 hours per week
• On-call is a rotating schedule: weeknights Mon–Thu approximately once every 1–2 weeks (call begins after current shift ends), and weekends Fri–Mon starting at 0700 approximately once every 4–6 weeks (call begins after current shift ends)
• Floating to Auburn may be required

Requirements

• Active WA RN license or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of OR experience required
• Must be able to circulate ortho, ENT, and general surgery cases
• Scrubbing experience preferred but not required
• Pediatric OR experience strongly preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Two professional references required (supervisor level or above, such as Charge Nurse, Manager, or Director) — one reference acceptable for initial consideration, with a second required prior to start

Additional Information

• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• First-time travelers will be considered, though travel experience is preferred
• 21-week contract
