American Traveler is hiring an experienced Oncology Infusion RN for a 13-week day-shift assignment requiring ONS certification and an active MA RN license.

Details

• Work in a 60 bed/chair infusion unit within the Division of Hematology-Oncology
• Day shift schedule from 07:00 to 19:30, totaling 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) rotation required
• 13-week assignment length
• Utilizes Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required with no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• Current BLS certification (AHA only)
• ONS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of oncology infusion experience in an academic medical center (AMC)
• Minimum 1 year of outpatient experience required
• Minimum 1 year of prior travel nursing experience required
• Strong IV insertion and patient assessment skills
• Experience administering complex GI chemotherapy regimens
• Primary source verification of license through NURSYS and BON required within 30 days of start

Additional Information

• Provide infusion therapy and oncology nursing care within a high-volume Hematology-Oncology unit
• Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates accepted if permanent residence is 60+ miles from Boston, MA
• Candidates residing within 60 miles are considered local and subject to a reduced rate
