American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery / Obstetrics night shift position in Colorado, requiring an active CO or compact RN license and a minimum of 1 year of perinatal nursing experience.

• Labor & Delivery / Obstetrics unit in a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted CO RN license or compact RN license required (must be currently active or obtainable prior to start)
• Minimum 1 year of perinatal RN experience required
• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN or MSN preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (may be obtained upon hire), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program Advanced Provider), AWHONN Fetal Heart Monitoring Intermediate (FHM), and STABLE Learner
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred

Additional Information

• This position is located at approximately 8,000 feet elevation; candidates must be physically healthy enough to safely function in a low-oxygen, high-altitude environment
• No RTO (time off requests) will be accepted for this assignment
• Housing is the responsibility of the traveler; the area is known for very high housing costs, with 1BR apartments in nearby Basalt averaging approximately $3,500/month — nearby towns such as Carbondale and Glenwood Springs may offer more affordable alternatives
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
