American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position in Plymouth, MA, requiring at least 2 years of IR experience and a Massachusetts RN license.

Details

• Interventional Radiology unit within a hospital setting
• 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, 40 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Weekend coverage required for stress testing responsibilities
• No on-call requirements
• Floating is not required

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts (MA) RN license required and must be in hand
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology (IR) experience required
• Must pass a Telemetry Competency Exam (ECG/Tele and Medication tests administered via Zoom prior to assignment start)
• Charge Nurse experience preferred
• Documented professional development activities required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• COVID vaccine and booster required (medical exemptions permitted); flu vaccine required during flu season

Additional Information

• Weekend and holiday coverage is expected
• Pass/fail ECG/Telemetry (20 questions) and Medication (20 questions) tests must be completed within 48 hours of confirmation, with a passing score of 85% — no remediation or re-sit is permitted; a study guide with tips and answers is provided to help candidates prepare
• Orientation is held biweekly
• A hiring manager interview is required; candidates should be prepared to provide available dates and times
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed prior to consideration
• Candidates who have previously worked at any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility (travel, permanent, or per diem) within the last 6 months are not eligible — a minimum 6-month break from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility is required
