Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN specializing in Wound/Ostomy Care for a 13-week hospital contract in Atlanta, GA, requiring CWOCN certification and a minimum of 2 years of recent specialty experience.

Details

• Hospital-based Wound, Ostomy, and Continence (WOC) unit
• Functions as part of a consulting team providing recommendations and specialized care for patients with wound, ostomy, and/or continence needs
• Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• 8-hour day shifts
• No on-call responsibilities
• Cerner EMR in use

Requirements

• Active RN license for Georgia (GA) or a valid Compact RN license
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Certified Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurse (CWOCN) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent wound/ostomy care experience required
• Driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break in employment with the facility before being eligible
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront prior to offer — requests cannot be made after an offer is accepted
