American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a MedSurg/Telemetry position requiring 3 years of MS/Tele experience, Meditech proficiency, and an active MA RN license.

Details

• Position is located on the Wheeler 5 unit of a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts, 7pm–7am, 3 shifts per week
• 36 or 48 hours per week may be considered
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Floating to similar units is possible
• No on-call responsibilities
• Telemetry monitoring is a core component of the role
• Meditech EMR is used and experience is required

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
• Current BLS certification (ARC or AHA accepted)
• Minimum 3 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Meditech EMR experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• A telemetry competency test is administered on the first day of orientation
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but will be considered at a discounted local rate
• Every other holiday coverage is required
