American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Medical and Telemetry (Med/Surg Tele) night shift position in Reno, NV, requiring 2 years of specialty experience and an active NV RN license.

Details

• Medical and Telemetry (Med/Surg Tele) unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule
• 13-week contract
• Epic EMR used; training provided during orientation or candidates may test out
• Kronos used for time keeping

Requirements

• Active NV RN license required; RNs who have never held a NV temp or permanent license may still be considered but must apply for licensure immediately upon offer
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Tele experience required
• All certifications must be AHA-issued
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• No blocked scheduling allowed
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration; the facility does not extend contracts to compensate for approved RTO
• Coverage for a minimum of 2 major holidays is required
• Travelers who have previously worked at this facility must take a 13-week break after their contract ends before being eligible to return, regardless of the number of extensions completed
