American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric Emergency Department position at a state-designated Burn, Trauma, and Eye center requiring at least 2 years of Pediatric ER experience and a minimum of one prior travel assignment.

Details

• Position is based in a high-acuity Pediatric Emergency Department serving patients from newborn through 21 years of age
• Unit consists of 32 beds and 3 triage spaces, including 2 rooms with 2 bed spaces, 3 secure psych beds, 2 negative pressure isolation rooms, 2 critical care rooms, 2 pediatric-specific trauma bays, and 1 eye room
• Full spectrum of pediatric specialties seen, including neurology, neurosurgery, oncology, hematology, endocrine, genetics, pulmonary, cardiac, orthopedics, ophthalmology, general pediatric surgery, rheumatology, psychiatry, GI, urology, burns, trauma, and eye
• Rotating 7A/7P shift schedule (days and nights)
• Epic EMR used; experience preferred
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license — Maryland license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and PALS
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Pediatric ER or Pediatric Psychiatry required
• At least one prior travel assignment required
• Experience in a large hospital facility (500+ beds) required
