American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery / OB Inpatient position in Urbana, IL, requiring an active IL RN license and a minimum of 3 years of nursing experience.

Details

• Inpatient OB Services unit in a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week (3 days per week)
• Minimum of 5 Saturday or Sunday day shifts required per 6-week schedule period
• Minimum of 2 Mondays and 2 Fridays required per 6-week schedule period
• Holiday coverage required as needed for federal holidays
• Candidate will be interviewed by facility leadership prior to selection
• Epic EMR used; experience is required
• Level 1 Trauma facility experience required
• No floating requirements

Requirements

• Active IL RN license in good standing (temporary license accepted)
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Current NRP certification (American Heart Association)
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant nursing experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• ASN required; BSN preferred

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient assessments, infant care, medication administration per physician orders, and documentation of all care in Epic
• Develops and modifies individualized plans of care based on patient and family needs upon admission and throughout the stay
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• RTO is not to exceed 7 total days for the duration of the 13-week contract
• Contingent workers may not remain on continuous assignment at this health system for more than 1 year; a 6-month break in service is required before returning to any location within the system
