Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a pediatric CVOR position at a leading children's hospital, requiring AHA BLS/PALS/ACLS certifications and Epic experience with on-call responsibilities.

Details

• Pediatric Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting within a children's hospital
• Performs a wide range of complex congenital heart procedures including ASD/VSD repair, Norwood/Glenn/Fontan, TAPVR, ECMO, Central Shunts, Arterial Switch, Arch reconstruction, Valve repair/replacement, and Heart transplantation
• Schedule is Monday–Friday with a mix of (4) 10-hour or (3) 12-hour shifts; shift start time is 6:00 AM
• Required to take cardiac call — 10 to 12 call shifts per 28-day scheduling period, including weekday and weekend call
• Required call response time is 30 minutes
• Floating required to areas of like skill set, including possible float to thoracic
• Epic EMR used; prior experience required
• One major holiday coverage required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active FL RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, PALS, and ACLS (all AHA)
• Pediatric CVOR experience required
• Experience at a comparable-sized facility required (500+ bed count for large academic medical center submissions)
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• Circulating and scrub experience preferred
