American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an IMCU/PCU Step Down position requiring 4 years of experience with active CA RN licensure and day shift availability.

Details

• Hospital-based Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) / PCU Step Down setting
• Day shift schedule: 07:00–19:30
• 36 hours per week on a 13-week contract
• No self-scheduling — candidates must be open to working any day of the week

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Minimum 4 years of RN experience in IMCU or PCU/Step Down
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and CPI (Prevention First program — 30-minute on-demand video required for PCU/Tele RNs)
• SSN (full preferred, last 4 acceptable), date of birth, and driver's license required for consideration
• One reference required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates

Additional Information

• Candidates who have previously worked for Tenet Healthcare as permanent employees must obtain MSP approval prior to being considered
• RTO requests should not exceed 7 days for the duration of the contract
