Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Surgery/OR position requiring at least 2 years of OR experience, prior travel experience, and robotic/scrub experience, with on-call obligations and a flexible 4x10 schedule.

Details

• Hospital surgical/operating room setting
• 4x10-hour shifts with a 6:30 or 6:50 AM start time, flexible based on OR volumes
• On-call required based on department needs, including weekdays and weekends
• Holiday coverage is provided through rotating on-call with regular staff
• Floating within the facility within the traveler's skill set may be required; floating to other sites is not required
• Uses Epic EMR
• 26-week contract (shorter contracts of 13 weeks may also be available)

Requirements

• Active WI or Compact RN license required
• BLS certification required (AHA-issued only)
• Minimum 2 years of OR/surgical nursing experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Robotic surgical experience preferred
• Scrub nurse experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• SSN, DOB, 2 professional references, Driver's License copy, skills checklist, and copies of certifications and license verification (Nursys within 30 days prior to start) required for consideration
