Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Dept position requiring 2+ years in a Level-3 or higher ED and a WA or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital Emergency Department setting with 24 beds
• Patient population includes psychiatric, trauma, general medical, sepsis, cardiac, and stroke cases
• Charting performed in Epic (experience required)
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week
• Floating is rare but may occur to a freestanding ED or elsewhere within the facility in a helping hands capacity

Requirements

• Active WA RN license or compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Level-3 or higher ED
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENCP, TNCC or ATCN, NIHSS, and CPI or MOAB
• Must pass a Traveler Telemetry Competency Exam
• Epic EMR experience required
• Two supervisory references required (Charge Nurse, Manager, Director, or above); one reference accepted for initial consideration with a second required prior to start
