American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab RN for a hospital position requiring cath lab experience and on-call availability during the week and every other weekend.

Details

• Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab (CVL) department of a hospital setting
• 13-bed unit staffed with a team of 30 including RNs and CVTs
• Patient ratio of 1:3
• Day shift scheduled 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM or until all cases are completed
• On-call responsibilities during the week and every other weekend
• Additional call requirements include after hours, weekends, and major holidays
• Uses Phillips and GE equipment
• Documentation completed in Meditech and Mac Lab systems
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• Experience with LHC, RHC, Peripherals, Structural Heart, and EP procedures preferred
• Must be flexible and able to function independently
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Perform cardiac catheterization procedures including LHC, RHC, Peripherals, Structural Heart, and EP cases
• Scrub color provided by the institution
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility as local candidates are not accepted
