Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CCU/Neuro position at a Kentucky hospital, requiring at least 1-2 years of acute care experience and working night shifts on a 13-week contract.

Details

• Hospital CCU/Neuro unit setting in Somerset, KY
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Patient ratios are 4:1 on day shift and 5:1 on night shift
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating may be required within a 25-mile radius of the facility
• EMR: Meditech

Requirements

• Active KY or Compact RN license required
• Current AHA certifications: BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an acute care facility
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• 13-week contract
• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the contract
