American Traveler is hiring an experienced CVOR RN with a minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience and recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience for a cardiovascular operating room travel assignment.

Details

• Work in a high-tech OR department featuring 26 surgical suites performing both inpatient and outpatient procedures
• CVOR serves a diverse patient population spanning neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric age groups
• Procedures performed include CABG, MVR/AVR/TVR, robotic MVR (RMVR), robotic AVR (RAVR), aortic dissections, aneurysm repairs, root replacements, TAVRs, and laser lead extractions — heart transplants are not performed
• Schedule is 4 x 10-hour day shifts per week
• Call coverage involves a 2-person team with expectations of 1–2 call nights per week and 1 weekend of call per month
• Floating to the main OR (MOR) may be required during periods of low CVOR census, as CVOR and MOR share the same cost center

Requirements

• Active NH or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required
• Proficiency in scrubbing and/or circulating cardiovascular procedures required
• 2 manager references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidate must reside more than 75 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible for this position
• Candidates should indicate their willingness and ability to float to the MOR when CVOR census is low
• The OR department also supports a broad range of surgical services including ENT, orthopedics, neuro, robotics, vascular, thoracic, and more
