American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) position in Oakland, CA, requiring at least 5 years of dedicated PICU and cardiac experience with an active CA RN license.

Details

• 13-week contract in a hospital PICU setting in Oakland, CA
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required; all licenses and certifications must be active at time of consideration — pending licenses not accepted
• Current BLS and Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS) certifications required
• Minimum 5 years of dedicated PICU experience (non-float) required
• Minimum 5 years of cardiac experience required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted and are eligible for the same rate as traveling candidates
• Travelers who have previously worked with this health system may not exceed two cumulative years of contingent work without a 90-day break — this applies regardless of whether the assignment was continuous or included gaps of less than three months
