American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery / Postpartum position in New Albany, IN, working nights on a 4x12 schedule with NRP and STABLE certifications required.

Details

• Postpartum (Mother/Baby) unit within a Women's Health Services department
• Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license in Indiana or a Compact state currently in hand
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, and STABLE
• ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred
• Candidate must provide MM/DD of date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN for consideration
• Proficiency with computer systems and clinical applications, or ability to be trained
• Ability to assess age-specific patient safety needs and implement appropriate safety measures

Additional Information

• Position focuses on postpartum patient care within the Women's Health Services unit
• Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, individualized care planning, patient and family education, and coordination of discharge planning
• Nursing practice is evidence-based and incorporates all phases of the nursing process, critical thinking, and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Previous nursing experience preferred but not required — first-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Active participation in unit-based quality improvement activities is expected
