American Traveler is hiring a travel RN specializing in Wound/Ostomy Care for a day shift position at an outpatient wound care clinic in Oregon, requiring an active OR RN license and wound care experience.

Details

• Outpatient wound care clinic setting focused on wound, ostomy, and continence care
• Patient population includes those with acute or chronic wounds related to diabetes, surgery, injury, poor circulation, and other conditions
• Scope of practice is physician-driven and includes adjunctive therapies such as vein medicine and hyperbaric medicine
• Day shift schedule: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM, no weekends
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active, unencumbered Oregon (OR) RN license currently in hand
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification required
• Minimum 6 months of wound care experience required; outpatient wound care clinic experience preferred
• BSN preferred
• Wound care certification preferred

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for patients with wounds, fistulas, percutaneous tubes, ostomies, incontinence, and actual or potential skin breakdown
• Serves as a resource and consultant to patients and nursing staff
• Collaborates with the WOCN to implement changes in the plan of care
