Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR Circulator RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Washington State, requiring active WA or compact RN licensure and both circulating and scrub skill sets.

Details

• OR setting in a hospital environment
• Responsibilities include both circulating and scrub nurse duties
• Day shift, Monday through Friday, five 8-hour shifts per week
• Rotating call coverage required, with participation in 24-hour call
• Minimum 2 years of experience required

Requirements

• Active WA State or compact (multi-state) RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA BLS/CPR certification required upon hire
• ACLS and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
• Experience in both circulating and scrub nurse roles required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include providing patient care as a circulating and/or scrub nurse, with a focus on safe and therapeutically effective nursing care
• Collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to promote and restore patients' health
• Applies nursing assessment skills to recognize post-anesthesia and post-operative complications
• Previous experience in Recovery Room nursing is preferred
• 13-week contract assignment
