American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Telemetry position in a Med-Surgical unit in Santa Fe, NM, requiring at least 1 year of RN experience and current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Details

• Acute Med-Surgical unit in a hospital setting
• Patient population includes post-cardiac cath, post-surgical, and respiratory patients, as well as patients on high-risk medication drips (Cardizem, heparin, nitroglycerin, insulin, ketamine, lidocaine)
• Respiratory patients on NIPPV (BiPAP, AirVO)
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4–5
• Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 13-week contract
• Epic EMR
• Floating required
• On-call required on weekends if needed

Requirements

• Active NM RN license or Compact state RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include initial and ongoing patient assessment, individualized plan of care development and evaluation, patient and family education, discharge planning, and Point of Care testing
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay; local candidates are not accepted on this position
