American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR Circulating RN for an Ambulatory Surgery Center position in Lexington, KY, requiring a valid KY or compact RN license and prior OR circulating experience.

Details

• Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) setting within a General Surgery department
• Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday (5x8s), with the ability to leave when cases are completed for the day
• 32–40 hours per week
• OR circulating experience is required for this role
• Previous ASC experience is preferred

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license in Kentucky or a compact state currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• OR circulating experience required
• ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred
• Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety measures
• Candidates must provide MM/DD of date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, implementing nursing interventions, and coordinating discharge activities within the ASC surgical services environment
• Nursing practice is evidence-based and aligned with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and professional guidelines
• Delegates tasks appropriately and monitors the accuracy of delegated care provided by other team members
• Participates in unit-based quality improvement activities including patient satisfaction, falls prevention, and documentation auditing
• Collaborates with an interdisciplinary care team to deliver patient- and family-centered care
