American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) position in Oakland, CA, requiring 5 years of dedicated PICU experience and night shift availability.

Details

• 13-week contract at a hospital-based PICU in Oakland, CA
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week
• Charting performed in Epic

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Active BLS and PALS certifications required — pending certifications are not accepted
• Minimum 5 years of cardiac experience required
• Minimum 5 years of dedicated PICU experience required — floating experience does not qualify
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required
• BSN preferred
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted and receive the same rate as traveling candidates
• Candidates who have previously worked at this health system as a contingent worker may be subject to tenure restrictions — travelers cannot exceed two cumulative years of assignment without a 90-day break
