Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVOR position requiring Level I Trauma experience, the ability to scrub and circulate for all CVOR case types, and an active PA or compact RN license.

Details

• Work setting is a hospital CVOR unit
• Patient population includes cardiovascular surgical cases of all types
• Candidate must be able to scrub and circulate for all types of CVOR cases
• May float to the general OR and a sister facility for cardiac cases
• Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, 6:45 AM – 5:00 PM
• On-call required 1–2 days per week and 1 weekend per month
• Holiday on-call required when applicable
• Charting system is Cerner (Surginet)

Requirements

• Active PA RN license or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required, with at least 2 years in CVOR or cardiovascular surgical specialty
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Ability to both scrub and circulate for all CVOR case types required
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

• 13-week contract
• Scrubs are provided
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are accepted but may be subject to a local rate differential
