Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery/Mom Baby Unit position requiring MT or compact RN licensure and at least 1 year of specialty experience.

Details

• Work in the Mom Baby Unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours weekly)
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need
• May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

• Active MT or compact RN license required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Labor & Delivery specialty required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required, must not expire prior to start
• ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required as appropriate for unit or service
• Epic EMR charting experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
• Provide health teaching, counseling, and therapeutic/restorative treatment to patients
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Refer patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment
• Monitor and review ongoing therapy and treatment plans
• Former permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this travel assignment
