American Traveler is hiring a travel LPN for a VNA Home Care position in Massachusetts, requiring active MA licensure and prior home care experience for a Monday–Friday schedule with weekend rotation.

Details

• Home health / Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) setting providing in-home patient care
• Caseload of 6 patient visits per day
• Works within an interdisciplinary team of RNs, PTs, OTs, and HHAs
• Scheduled Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with a 1-in-4 weekend rotation and one weekend shift per month
• Charts using Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active MA LPN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• BLS certification required — AHA only; Red Cross not accepted for this position
• Prior home care experience required
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Flu vaccination required — no religious or medical exemptions accepted
• License required if applicable — primary source verification (both NURSYS and BON) required within 30 days of start

Additional Information

• Performs skilled nursing functions under the direction of the Clinical Team Manager, in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act and applicable federal, state, and local regulations
• Delivers patient care as delegated by the RN Case Manager and/or Clinical Team Manager
• Time and attendance tracked via UKG/Kronos
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are eligible but will receive a reduced pay rate
• No validated parking available at Boston locations; public parking is available at candidate's expense
