American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Progressive Care Unit position on night shift requiring at least one year of experience and MI RN licensure.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (11 East) setting within a hospital
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week assignment length
• Oncology experience beneficial but not required
• Unit administers non-vesicant chemotherapy after completion of unit-based oncology training
• Vesicant chemotherapy administration requires completion of the ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course

Requirements

• Active MI RN license required
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) required for all direct patient care personnel
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• OCN certification or completion of ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course required to be assigned patients actively receiving chemotherapy infusions
• License verification must be dated within 30 days of start, with NURSYS verification for RN license

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care on a progressive care unit with a focus on telemetry and oncology-related conditions
• Complete unit-based oncology course and orientation prior to administering non-vesicant chemotherapy
• Local candidates accepted in select states including MI
• Radius rule of 60 miles applies for consideration at this location
