American Traveler is hiring an experienced CVOR RN for a cardiovascular operating room position at a Level 1 academic medical center in St. Louis, MO, requiring scrub and circulating experience with Epic proficiency.

Details

• Work in the Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) of a 356-bed non-profit, academic Level 1 Trauma Center and research medical center in St. Louis, MO
• Tertiary care setting affiliated with a medical school and serving the east Missouri region
• Day shift schedule: 5x8 hours, 10:30–19:00, Monday through Friday
• Call responsibilities shared among CV staff, approximately 14 call shifts per month including weekend call
• Floating required to Vascular and General OR
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active MO or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience required
• Experience in both scrub and circulating roles required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience preferred
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

• Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
• 13-week contract assignment
