American Traveler is hiring a travel LPN for a Skilled Nursing unit on night shifts, requiring Tennessee licensure, BLS, and at least 1 year of long-term care experience.

Details

• Skilled nursing and rehab center setting, primarily supporting the 17-bed skilled nursing unit with potential float to long-term care (55 beds)
• Short-term rehab and long-term care resident population
• Patient ratio of 1:17
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• No on-call or 48-hour requirements
• Block scheduling may be available upon request
• Floating to long-term care is possible
• Uses PointClickCare (PCC) EMR
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Tennessee LPN license required (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification required; no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start
• Minimum 1 year of recent long-term care experience required
• IV certification preferred
• Proficiency in medication pass and hands-on patient care
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Valid driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include medication administration, patient rounds, wound care, and supervision of CNAs
• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
• Scrub color requirement: royal blue
• First-time travelers are not mentioned as eligible — experienced travelers preferred
