American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg-Oncology RN for a night shift position requiring at least 1 year of oncology/hematology nursing experience.

Details

• Work on a 16-bed Oncology Unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes oncology, hematology, end of life/hospice, and overflow medical-surgical cases
• Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active RN license (IN state or compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS certification through AHA
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience required
• Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient assessment and intervention, medication administration, following through with orders, observing patients, documenting in EHR, implementing and monitoring the plan of care, and assisting with ADLs
